I'm here now

Well I am now on this blogging thing. What does blog mean? It's a fun word. I can say it over and over again. Blog blog blog. Hmmm. what is new? I teach in the semi -ghetto world of the route 1 corridor. I love it though. I auditioned and made it into the Master Chorale of Washington, one of the major DC choirs that sings at the Kennedy Center. We have our first performance of the year on Sunday at the Kennedy Center at 3pm, singing the Mozart Requiem, Te Deum and Ave Verum Corpus. Jeff and I just went up to Boston this past weekend to visit Laura and Basil. We had a good time- took a tour of fenway park- it was much fun! And we walked the Freedom trail. My mom took a spill down the stairs last week... broke her arm and banged up her face pretty badly. She might sue the company that was putting the hard wood floors and railing on the stairs, because they messed it up. That's about it. Oh, my favorite name of one of my students is "Laquesha". Thought you'd enjoy that.

I hope y'all are doing well. I'll try to remember how to blog again soon:)

Very cool...glad you're here. I have been doing some thinking on how to get us all together and stumbled on this blogging thing. Yes it's a great little word. Short for weblog or web diary. Welcome and keep checking in for everyone else's posts...

duh... ok I just found comments that people replied to other comments. My Mom is fine- she is healing nicely and gets her cast off next week. She was hoping to sue the stair company but it turns out that there is some VA law that states if you continue to use the unsafe environment, you are accepting it, and therefore they are not at fault. I don't really believe that they accepted the environment since she called every day to tell them to fix the railing but whatever!
