Food... UK Style

On my recent trip to the UK for work, I discovered a few interesting food
items.  I drank my diet coke and ate the yummy bacon chips.  I skipped the other two items.

Martha Stewart has a line of decorating items at home depot... And office depot... And I'm sure many other stores. I quite enjoy the contradictory adjectives used for this product. What exactly is a jumbo mini roller??

I found this at Lowes today. I thought it was odd that the life if you speak english was 22.8 years and in Spanish it is only 13.7.

It seems like there is a "natural medicine" store on almost every corner in Colorado Springs. Now Home Depot is getting in on it!

This shirt was for sale at the Disney store. I saw a very large woman in a scooter wearing the same shirt... In her case, the answer might have been different given the context.

How do you read this?

The announcer read the title below and got my attention. I thought the news story might have had to do with animal husbandry or something. Alas, it was just hockey :)

We decided to watch Tron tonight. To our surprise, we found Pac Man.

This is the best no parking sign I've seen. It was on a house in San Francisco. Very cool.

Things that are new: Virgil's Root Beer

I've had Virgil's in the past. It was a bit strong in the wintergreen. This version is imported from Bavaria in these nice cool bottles. After one sip, I could tell this wasn't the same as the regular version. It is far far better. I'm not sure if it's worth the $5 per bottle I paid, but it's pretty darn good. It has a great smooth flavor and creamy texture. Clearly one of the best, if not the best root beer I've had. I'll go with giving this a perfect 10 out of 10. Very yummy. If you happen to find it, I recommend giving it a try.

Things that are new: Pretzel M&Ms

On the heels of the coconut M&Ms, I tried these. Although I liked them better, I don't think I will go out of my way to buy more. The combo of chocolate and salty pretzels is always good, but this is just okay. 6 out of 10.

Things that are new: Coconut M&Ms

I found these in Hawaii. Costco sold them by the case. I bought a couple of bags from an ABC Store and gave them a try when I got home. I'm not a big fan of coconut, so I was a bit skeptical. The flavor was pretty mild, so it didn't overwhelm me. I wasn't super crazy about this new flavor and probably would not buy any more. Several of July coworkers that like coconut also tried these and did like them.

For me, I give them a 4/10. Others would likely rate them higher though.

Is this a stereotype?

Who says all service animals are dogs? And that they all love fire
hydrants? Either way, I thought this was pretty funny to see in an
airport. I'm glad they're looking out for the four legged travelers
now that they are regularly treating the two legged ones so poorly.

What do these guys make?

Looks like a place that makes things for about 1/2 the population...
