YAAAWN....

So my flight out of Vegas was delayed for a bit... I got back home around 4:30a this morning. After checking the mail and turning the heat back on I think I finally was able to get to sleep at 5:30a. I came into work around 10:00a to find that I STILL don't have a phone at my desk. I had a pleasant e-mail telling me to type in some numbers to activate my phone... hmmm... that'd be nice IF I HAD A PHONE!!! Ugh. Also nothing really seems to work at my desk because someone borrowed parts from it. I had to steal some power cables to get my lights working and need to find a transformer to get my desk lamp to work. I think this is another one of those tests... if you can get your desk together we'll give you some real work to do.

About 10 minutes ago someone stopped by to "get my badge number". I showed her the only badge I had... hmmm... that sounds bad. Anyway, she wanted to see the number on the building pass... that I DON'T HAVE. Why would I have a building pass when I don't even have a freakin' phone? She then asked about my parking pass... hmm... what do you think the answer to that one is? She's the same person who e-mailed me and then asked me twice for all of my contact info... about a month ago.

I think I'll take some pens home with me... that might make me feel better....

Concerts

I should have thought to do this before-anyone who is in the area in the next week and would be interested in going to some concerts at the Kennedy Center:

On Thursday December 16th, and Friday December 17th, I'll be performing Handel's Messiah with the Master Chorale and the National Symphony Orchestra. Tickets can only be bought through the Kennedy Center- http://www.kennedy-center.org/calendar/index.cfm?fuseaction=showEvent&event=NFMES or you may call them at 1800-444-1324 for tickets as well.

On Sunday December 19th and Monday December 20th, the Master Chorale is holding it's annual Candlelight Christmas Concerts at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall as well. As of now, my parents and Laura and Kara are going on Sunday night, which I believe is close to sold out. You can get tickets for these concerts by going to http://www.masterchorale.org or calling 202-337-7464- I think only 48 dollar tickets are available for the Sunday night, so you may want to go on Monday night.

And if you do come- let me know so that I can see you after the concert! I will be one of the many women dressed in ugly eggplant colored (and shaped) dresses:)

See you all soon!
